Global Soil Biodiversity Atlas

New atlas illustrates global soil biodiversity and threats to soil organisms

For the first time, a global map of soil biodiversity has been created. It is a new atlas, which pays tribute to soil organisms, the hidden engine that keeps the planet alive. Published by the JRC, it will be launched at a dedicated side event of the 2ndUN Environment Assembly (UNEA) in Nairobi on 25 May.
